                   Seawolf

Sail with Scott offers group, shared, and private sailing charters aboard the Seawolf.  Seawolf is a beautiful 40 foot long by 25 foot wide sailing catamaran handbuilt of beautiful Spanish cedar. Its guest capacity is 49.

The cruise departs the dock by the lighthouse on the water side of the Hilton Hotel in Rockwall, Texas, one of the most scenic locations on Lake Ray Hubbard.

The street address of the Hilton Hotel is 2055 Summer Lee Drive, Rockwall, TX 75032.

From Dallas, take I-30 east, exit Horizon Rd, immediately while still on the exit ramp take a right on Shoreline Road, then right on Summer Lee Dr.  Park in front of the Hilton Hotel or use the valet parking ($10).  It is approximately 30 minutes from downtown Dallas.

Then relax on the deck and enjoy the stunning views, sparkling water, and colorful sunsets. Or take a turn at steering the boat---sailing and boating lessons are complimentary with every cruise!

All cruises last 1 1/2 hour.  Seawolf's guest capacity is 49.

The ONLY way to make reservations is at this website!

NEW POLICY: Your credit card will be charged for your full cruise purchase at the time of booking.

Private cruises are charged a 50% deposit at the time of booking.  The balance is due at the time of the cruise.

There is no age limit aboard Seawolf.  We do not recommend children under 6 for the Friday and Saturday sunset or evening cruises unless it is a private party.  There are romantic evenings when our guests are often celebrating an anniversary or other special occasion.  Children sitting quietly and are well-behaved are always welcome on any cruise.

Seawolf can accommodate stollers, baby seats, walkers and wheelchairs (not motorized---too heavy).

COMFORT

Seawolf has an electric flushing toilet.  There is also room below deck to change clothes.

Smoking is not permitted aboard Seawolf, in consideration of others, littering of cigarette butts in the lake, and the possibility of ash burning the beautiful finish on the wooden hulls.

You do not need to stay seated the entire length of the cruise.  Many guests prefer to stand up and walk around or lay on the foredeck area in the sun!  The crew loves it when guests pitch in and help set sails.  We give free sailing lessons while on the cruise---just ask!

SAFETY

We have more than enough youth and adult life-jackets aboard Seawolf for our 49 guest capacity.  Click here for a 2 minute Video of Safety Talk on Seawolf.

Please wear shoes with soft rubber soles and low heels.  If you wear high heels, leather soles, or muddy shoes, be ready to take them off as you board the boat.  High heels are not recommended at all, because the boat wobbles in waves and you can break your ankle.  Leather soled shoes are slippery and you can slip and fall.

EATING AND DRINKING ABOARD SEAWOLF

All of our boats are BYOB.  You are welcome to bring your own alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages aboard Seawolf.  We offer complimentary cold water.  Seawolf has a very large cooler filled with ice for you to keep your drinks cold.  Or, you are also welcome to bring your own cooler so that your drinks are already chilled.

The local Kroger store is closest, for the purchase of beer or wine.  It is located at 2935 Ridge Road, Rockwall.  (972) 771-8021.

Chandlers Landing Marina now sells beer, which you can purchase to be pre-loaded on any of our boats.

Bring plastic glasses.  Glass bottles of wine, champagne, or beer are OK.

We have a 3'x5' table on which to put deli trays.  Square deli trays work best.  Local restaurants around the lake will cater food to the boat.  Remember that finger foods work best.

You are welcome to bring a picnic basket.  Think of it as a stand-up cocktail party.  The ideal food to bring aboard Seawolf is anything that consists of a single-morsel bite.  Skewers and toothpicks are scary.  Chips in an open bowl blow away.  If it is your desire to have a buffet, you might consider letting your guests "graze" without a plate.  Plates blow away and little the lake.  Suggestions:  deli trays, half-size soda cans (wonderful!), tortilla roll-ups cut into bite-size portions, single-serving sized sandwiches, cookies, doughnut holes, petit fours.

No fire of any kind is permitted on any of our boats.  No candles, cooking, etc

CELEBRATIONS!   PARTIES!

We welcome celebrations of all kinds aboard Seawolf!  Please see our wedding page for more specific information about ceremonies and/or receptions aboard any of our boats.  Look for "Weddings" at the bottom of the left-hand column.

Decorations:  banners, signs, balloons, flowers and anything that blows in the wind do not work very well.  The beautiful wooden boat and the excellent vista of the lake hardly need any additional decoration.  I have never seen a decoration that matches nature's creation of the water and the sky.  If you want to add a festive touch, try soap bubbles, plastic streamers on a stick, or other hand-held toys.

AND LAST, BUT NOT LEAST...

Tipping is appreciated but never expected.  The usual amount is 15-20% if you are happy with the cruise.  You may add the tip to your credit card at the time you pay, or you may drop cash into the TIPSY container beside the steering wheel.
