Junior Sailing Camp 2008.
We are scheduling weekly camps all summer starting June 9th except for july 4th week. Last camp will be the week of August 18.
Price is $160 a week,
There is a one time sign up fee of $50 which goes for administration expense.
The $50 sign up fee reserves a place in the school for a student.
All students will pay by credit card, check in advance, or charge on their club bill.
Kids can order lunch from the kids menu at regular club prices (approx. $7) or bring their lunch.
Morning is 9 am till noon will be Tennis, after a break for lunch, Sailing and swimming will be from 1 till 4 pm.
Chris Hill, the Chandlers Landing Tennis Pro, will be in charge of the Tennis, and Scott Self, the Chandlers Landing Sailing Pro will be in charge of the Sailing and Swimming.
Single day sign ups are $75 a day; a second day during the same week will then mean they are signed up for the week at $150 even though they may only be there two days.
If a student wants just ½ day tennis or just ½ day sailing, they may do so with the rate of $100 a week. The one time $50 sign up fee will still apply.
Each student will be responsible to bring the following:
1. Payment in full before class begins
2. Type III PFD (life jacket) and a hat
3. Tennis racket
4. approved tennis shoes and clothes
5. Bathing suit and a beach towel
6. Sun screen and lip balm
7. Lunch or have credit card on file for the student to buy lunch at the club, plus a water bottle
8. Complete change of clothes.
9. Duffle bag or backpack with person ID tag to hold all personal items.
10 Do not bring valuables such as ipods, cameras, gameboys, money, etc. as there is no safe place to stow them. Cell phones should be put in a zip lock bag.
11. A signed release by parent or guardian
12. Contact information sheet.
Students are encouraged to sign up for multiple week sessions. Each week repeating students will move to higher levels of instruction based on their skills in Tennis and Sailing.
Our goal of instruction is to have the kids fall in love the Tennis and Sailing so that they will want to come back and learn more.
