At the end of the second 12 hour course you may take the test for ASA certification, which is both on the water and written. The course is normally taken in classes lasting 3 hours, you can take all of the classes for one section in as little as one weekend. We recommend that you stretch it out over a series of weekends to enhance retention of the knowledge you learn.

Our classes combine on the water as well as classroom instruction. A low instructor to student ratio (1:4 or less per boat) allows for rapid development of the students sailing skills. The class format is set up so the students get a maximum of hands on experience with an emphasis on water and boating safety.
